This island's only airport, Lanai Airport, is located three miles southwest of Lanai City in the island's central region. The airport's single runway serves scheduled interisland and commuter/air taxi traffic, with some unscheduled charter and general aviation activity. A new passenger terminal complex was recently constructed.
All flights coming into Molokai originate as interisland flights from Oahu's Honolulu International Airport or other smaller airports in the Islands.
